Poached Pear & Cinnamon Protein Oats

Servings 1 bowl

Ingredients

1/2 cup/45g/1.5 oz Oats 4 tsp psyllium 1/2 cup/125ml/4.2 oz Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk 1 cup/250ml/8.4 oz Water 1 tsp each Baobab & Maca Powder 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 2 tsp Natvia 1 each Pear (leave one half whole and dice the other half) 1/4 cup/60ml/2 oz Egg whites

Method

  1. Poach the half pear in a cup of water, 1 tsp Natvia and a cinnamon stick.
  2. Cook all ingredients except egg whites in a pot on the stove until thickened.
  3. Add the egg whites in the last minute and stir briskly for a minute (makes the porridge nice and creamy).
  4. Top with poached pear, toasted nuts and seeds and a drizzle of @pureharvest rice malt syrup mixed with @du_chocolat Enjoy!
